**Activities:** To relieve the blind or the partially sighted, or those labouring under some temporary or permanent incapacity or disability which makes reading a strain, by the provision of recorded tapes or other appropriate amenities. Recording on cassette tapes a selection of news items from the local newspapers each week. Distribute copies of recording to members of the blind and partially sighted community.
