**Objects:** (1) TO STUDY AND AS FAR AS PRACTICABLE RECORD MATTERS OF HISTORIC AND PRE-HISTORIC INTEREST IN OR CONNECTED WITH THE ANCIENT PARISHES OF GREENWICH, LEWISHAM, DEPTFORD, LEE AND CHARLTON. (2) TO ASSIST IN PRESERVING ALL BUILDINGS, LANDMARKS AND OTHER OBJECTS OF HISTORICAL AND ANTIQUARIAN INTEREST IN THE SAID PARISHES. (3) TO PUBLISH NOT LESS THAN ONCE IN EVERY 2 YEARS TRANSACTIONS WHICH SHALL BE ISSUED FREE TO ALL PAID-UP MEMBERS

**Activities:** To encourage and assist in the study of historic Greenwich, to receive corresponding lectures and presentations, to publish an annual Journal of appropriate articles
