The Independent Jewish Day School is a prims1ry school providllig secular and religious education io children of
pritnary school age, primarily for the Orthodox Jewish community. In 201? the school became an Academy.

The key aims for the year included:
To raise funds to SUp￿rt the educational objectives ofthe Ind4￿dent Jewish Day School.

The nursery was fully subscribed and there is a ￿aitIng Itst of interested families. The staffing levels remained
s3tigfaetory.

The charity tsises fiJn(Ls to 5UPPOrt the educatioT]al obie£tives of the School. Adequale levels of fimds were raiseJJ in
meeting the needs of the school a￿1 the nurseTI'.
The new wing to the sch(Mil which was built last year hos proven to ￿ a m su<ws and the r(M)ms are now being
fully used. There are plans to spend further resources on Imp￿¥t[]g the school buildings though the timing of this will
depend latEely on when the COVID19 pandetnic is tsckled and I(*kdow￿$ historÈcal.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Financial p05ititi
The tsustees consider ihat the fmancial ￿ornIan¢e of the d)artty, this year was satisfactory. During the Jear, the
charity donated to the primary sch¢x)I sufficient fimds for the ￿001 to meet its employment costs for religio￿$
education and a150 contributed to other sch￿1 educational activities.
