**Activities:** Thomas Bernard Robinson following discussion with Churchill after the War discussed the fact that cancer after the war was the biggest killer. A lady made a donation of a ring which was auctioned and the proceeds from that went on to set up Marie Curie Cancer Care Organisation - for which TBR was the founding secretary. He wanted to continue helping small start up charities so here we are.
