Independent examlner's report to the trustees of Cowden Willage Hall {Commonly known as
Cowden Memorial Hall).
I report to the trusiees on my examination of the accounts of Cowden Village Hall, ICVHI. for the
vear ended 30 June 2025.
Responslbllitles and basls of report
As the charity trustees of CVH. you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charites Acl 2011,1"the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the CVH accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011
Act and in carrying out my examinatr.on I have followed all the applicable Directions 8iven by the
Charity Commission under section 1451511bl of the Act.
Independent ¢xamlnÈr's statement
I have completed my examination. I conlirm that no rnalerial matters have come to my attention in
connection with ihe examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
Accountin8 record5 were not kept in respect of CVH as required by section 130 of the act; or
The accounts do not accord with those records.. or
The accounts do not compty with the applicable requirements concerning the form and
content of accounts set out in ihe Charities (Accounts and Report51 Re8vlations 2CKJ8 other
than any requirement that the accounts give a "Irue and fair" view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to
which ottentr'on should be dfawn in thi5 reporl in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.

Cowden Village Hall- Trustees Report
Accounts to 30 June 2025
The Trustees present the accounts as shown on the attached summary.
Total income fo¥ the year was £25,824.27 which included grants received in the period ol
£16,215. These grants will be used for the development project in year to 30" June 2026. Other
income was from Hall lettings and donations which were in line with income in previous years.
Cosis in the year lolalled £7.925.66 which were the normal expected running costs of the hall.
The Net Assets held by iho Hall at the year end dale wero £29,969.48 which include the grant
income to be spent of £16.215 ano the oil boilei of £7,135.93 which will be decommissioned in
February 2026 lollowing the development PTojeci which includes the installaiion ol infrared
heating via solar pane15 and using batlery slorage. The remaining 8ssetS after accounting for
the outstanding loan of £5.186 were £6.718.55 which is the capit81 fetained for future running
costs and any Oelicit on ihe development project.
