**Objects:** (A) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE UNITED KINDOM'S MARITIME HISTORY AND TRADITIONS THROUGH STUDY AND REASEARCH AND LECTURES IN SCHOOLS UNIVERSITIES AND OTHER INSTITUTES OF FURTHER EDUCATION AND THE PUBLICATION OF PAPERS OR ARTICLES AND THE REVIEW OF MARITIME BOOKS FILMS VIDEO CASSETTES RADIO AND TELEVISION PROGRAMMES AND OTHER PUBLICATIONS AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR STUDY AND RESEARCH INCLUDING THE MAINTENANCE OF A PUBLIC LIBRARY THE DATA BASE AND TO MAKE GRANTS AND AWARDS TO PERSONS ENGAGED IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH STUDY AND RESEARCH.
