I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

**Independent** [The charity’s gross income exceeded £250,000 and I am qualified to **examiner's statement** undertake the examination by being a qualified member of [insert name of applicable listed body]]. _Delete_ [ ] _if not applicable._

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that disclosed below *) which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or

- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or

- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

Achievements and performance
The recently installed kntchen now provides the facility for larger caterin9
opportunities such as lunches, aftemoon teas, suppers alongside popular
quiz nights and other Hall events. Three members of the committee
gained their health and hygiene ￿rtifi￿te$ to help facilitate these
adivities.
Summary of the main
achlevemenls of the charlty
during tho year
The toilets, upstairs room and overall upgrade of the entrance hall have
encouraged parties for all age groups to book the Hall, and large
weddings have enjoyed the benefit of the full weekend hire. The interior
of the Hall was decorated in the summer of 2024.
The Hall's storage is used to capacity and the Committee is investigating
the installation of new storage sheds outside of the Hall.
The Management Committee are aware of the seasonal aspect of some
bookings and regularly re-evaluale the marketing of the Hall in new areas
to promote its use, such as conferences, wedding fayres, antiques and
collectables auctions, and will suggest aftemoon sessions during school
holidays for children's parties or'summer schools..
The Hall provides a local venue for local charitable events, raising funds
for Ninfield causes and benefitting local residents. It has been the venue
for Ihe Health and Wellbeing Christmas Lunch, and for the Ninfield
Village Gala Night and both events were very well attended with the Hall
much admired in its p￿Sentation.
The Memorial Hall has gained profile and regular revenue over the year
and is ahyays endeavouring to keep ahead of the times. It has
streamlined the bookings and accounting procedures. for example by
utilising the invoicing functionality within the booking system Hallmaster,
and become more digitally al￿ned, for example by launching a new
website.
Reviews from hirers have generally been very pjsitive - The Hall is seen
to be a lovely, clean, bright venue, fit for purpose, excellent for parties
and other ￿lebratiOn events. When the Hall is used for a themed event,
and decorated throughout, tt takes on a new character which is often
complimented.
In addibon to all the Hall wliLies being updated. the Trustèes agreed a
rolling rewew which will ensure future good govemance. The
management ￿mmIttee requested and received an independent
financial review on our accounts for the last four years-, this will be
ongoing annual process.
The Hall's accounting period was adjusted to run from the beginning of
the calendar year to the end ofthe year to provide alignment with the
annual hire tariff review periods and to provide additional simplification.
The Hall has an updated and complete Fire and Safety review and a Fire
Risk Assessment drawn up.
Tha Trusteesl Management Committee of Ninfield Village Memorial Hall
have. as volunteers, worked hard through the year, convened at regular
meetings and helped to raise funds and the profile of the Hall. They have
