## Activities

**Objects:** A) TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE PUBLIC STUDY OF FAMILY HISTORY, GENEALOGY AND HERALDRY, AND RELATED SUBJECTS SUCH AS LOCAL HISTORY, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE ANCIENT COUNTY OF SURREY. B) TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION, SECURITY AND ACCESSIBILITY OF ARCHIVAL MATERIAL.

**Activities:** Hold regular meetings about family, local and social history matters. Issue a quarterly Journal. Attend family history and heritage events to provide advice and information. Maintain a research centre, containing our unpublished research material and a library with a help desk for the use of members and the general public.Transcribe and publish family history records.
