**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE TRUST SHALL HENCEFORTH BE THE PROMOTION OF ONE OR MORE OFTHE FOLLOWING CHARITABLE PURPOSES:1.1 THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO DISORDERS OF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM ATTHE WESSEX NEUROLOGICAL CENTRE AND/OR OTHER RESEARCH LABORATORIES;1.2 THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS BY IMPROVING THE RANGE AND QUALITY OFTREATMENT OFFERED TO PATIENTS BEING TREATED FOR DISORDERS OF THE NERVOUSSYSTEM AT THE WESSEX NEUROLOGICAL CENTRE AND/OR OTHER MEDICALFACILITIES WITHIN THE CATCHMENT AREA OF THE WESSEX NEUROLOGICAL CENTRETHROUGH THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, TRAINING AND/OR OTHER MEANS; AND1.3 THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH EDUCATION CONCERNING DISORDERS OF THENERVOUS SYSTEM THROUGH THE PUBLICATION BOTH AMONG THE MEDICALPROFESSION AND FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF RESEARCHAND THE BENEFITS OF ADVANCES IN TREATMENT.

**Activities:** The WNCT (known also as the Smile4Rich Appeal or Smile4Wessex) aims to improve the range and quality of patient care at the Wessex Neurological Centre by raising funds to provide new equipment and facilities that would not otherwise be available, and by sponsoring pioneering research into new treatments for a variety of neurological conditions.
