Obje¢tives of the CharÉty At The Centre Pre-school we enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in paient-involvingr cornmunity-based group. We provide a safe, secure and stimulat*ng environment. We work within a frarnework vthich ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families. Attsvities and Achlevements of the Charlty Children's grant funding was received from Essex County Council Early Years for 2-, 3- and 4-year old childien. Early Years Pupil Pretnium for disadvantaged 3- and 4-year-old children was received from Essex C(iunty Council which enabled us to purchase equipment and provide sUPPOrt to bentlit the children'5 education. The committee endeavour to administer the charity to a high starkdard and are pleased with the results for Charlty number.. 286158 the year under review. The pre-school did fundraising and over the year we iaised a totsl £574. This was obtained through donations to our Christmas raffle &nd a sponsored find and keep healthy. Expendlture increased during 2024 £131,05012023'. £174,176) this was prirnarily due to the impact of increased Staffing and payroll costs.
