The association cater for the needs of voluntary groups in a diverse multicultural society, especially those which are disadvantaged in some way. The majority of user groups are, the under 5's, disabled people, older people, ethnic minorities and womens groups.

Objects: (I) To Promote The Benefits Of Persons Resident Or Employed In The London Borough Of Hounslow And Surrounding Areas Without Distinction Of Sex, Race, Colour, Or Of Political Or Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating The Statutory Authorities Voluntary Organisations And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare, Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants. (Ii) To Establish Or To Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage, Or To Co-Operate With Any Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The Association And Its Constituent Bodiesin Furtherance Of The Above Objects
