Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17	The objects of the Association shall be to secure the establishment, maintenance and management of the village hall for the benefit of the residents of Abberton and Langenhoe and the surrounding area (hereinafter referred to as the said area.

Para 1.17 and 1.19	The Village hall is used for the following activities ;- Dance classes, carpet bowls, craft sessions, dog training, parent and toddle group ,childrens’ and adult parties, private functions, social meetings,and other functions related to the local community

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	The Village Hall has been hired out to a variety of groups this year including a Toddler Group, Youth Club, Bowls club Adult education, and a variety of Social Events. Including a Coronation celebration. In the absence of a Pub in the village the committee have obtained an Alcohol Licence and now run a successful “Pub Night” attended by a wide range of age groups of local residents.
