## Activities

**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN CORNISH PRE-HISTORY, HISTORY, TOPOGRAPHY, PLACE-NAMES, FOLKLORE, TRADITIONS, DIALECT, MUSIC, INDUSTRIES AND OTHER SUBJECTS (WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE NEWQUAY AREA) AND IN THE CORNISH LANGUAGE.

**Activities:** Organise a programme of lectures on Cornish topics. Maintain a collection of documents, images and artefacts and exhibit these when possible. Respond to queries regarding the history of the town of Newquay and its environs.   Maintain a photographic record of changes to the town. Participate in the activities of the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies. Organise social events for members.
