The aim of the Society is the restoration of the Massey Shaw Fireboat and preservation of other marine vessels. The objectives are:1. To preserve the vessel as a working boat on the Thames2. To use the craft as an educational resource based on the Thames

Objects: A) To Advance Public Education In The History Of Marine Vessels In Particular By The Preservation And Public Display Or The Massey Show Fireboat. B) If And In So Far As The Income Cannot Be Applied For The Primary Object The Society May Apply And Surplus Income For Or Towards The Promotion Of Any Charitable Purpose Institution Or Institutions And In Particular But Without Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing Towards Any Charitable Purpose In Connection With The London Or National Fire Service.
