Organisution
The Charity is administered by the Governors who are the Trust¢es. Every Tmstee holds office until h¢/she
shall di¢ or shall cease to hold office by virtue of the Articles of Association.
The day-tfrday affairs of the Company are administered by the Trustees whosc Chairn)an is Mr E
England¢r.
Where Ihere is a r4uirement for new Trustees, these would be identified and appointed by the remaining
Trustees. The Chairnian of the Trustees woiild be resTX)nsible for the induction of any new Trnslee, which
involves awareness of a Trustee's responsibilities. the governing document, administrative procedures, the
history and philosophical approach of the Charity. A new TnJst¢¢ would receive copies of the previous year's
annual report and account5 With detailed explanation thereof.
All Trustees give their time voluntarily and no benefil or expenses were paid to them in the year.
ORIECTtVES AND ACTIVITTES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC
Th¢ Charities objeLtives. as defined in its governin8 document, are the advartccment of ￿1]sion in
a¢¢ordance with the orthodox Jewish faith, the relief of poverty and such other purposes as are recognised
by English Law as charitable. To achieve these obje¢ts, the Company utilise5 Its income to make grants
and don&tions.
The Trustees confimi iheir compliance wilh the duty to hav¢ due regard to the public benefit ¥uidan¢e
published by the Charity Comrnission when reviewing the Charity's aims and obj￿(IVeS aiid in planning
future activities.
Grani Moking Policy
The Trustees are approached for donations by a wide variety of charitable institutions operating in the
United Kingdom and abroad. The Truslees consider all requests which they receive and make donations
based on the level of funds available.

During the year the Company continued to pursue its philanthropic objects in support of educational.
religious and other Charitable Organisalions which is in accordance with the guidanc¢ of the Charity
Commission relating to Public Ben¢fit.

Financial Statements together with the Not¢s Ihereon.

The financial position of the Chwity is satisfactory.
Income from donations and inveslments ag￿gated £517.500. Total resources expended were £493,427.
resulting in a net surplus of £24.073 for the year and total ￿serveS of £20,291 (2024- £3. 782 deficil).
Reserves Policy
The Reserves Policy of the Trust¢es is to maintain unrestricted funds. which are th¢ free Teserves of ihe
Charity. at a l¢v¢l they consider appropriate to the Charity's n¢¢ds taking into a¢¢ount likely futur¢
requirements.
Prlnclpal Uncert¢Tlniles and Rlsk Managemenl
The Trustees hav¢ identified and reviewed the major risks to which the Charity is expos¢d, in particular
those related lo the operations and finance of th¢ Company, and ar¢ satisfied that systems are in place to
manage those risk5.
It is recognised that systems can only provide reasonable but nol absolut¢ assurance that major risks have
been adequately managed.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the financial statements of Melcren Limited ('the charity,) for
th¢ year ended 31 Ma￿h 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND BASIS OF REPORT
As the trustees of the company (and also its directors for the purposes of Company law) you are responsible
for the preparation of the financial statements in aecordance willi the r4uirements of ihe Companies Act
2006 ('the 2006 Act,).
Having satisfied myself that th¢ account5 of the company are not required to be audited under Part 16 of the
2006 Act and are eligible for independent ¢xatnination, l ￿pOrt in respect of my exarnination of the charity's
accounts as catTied out under section 145 of the Charilies Act 2011 {'the 2011 Act,). In carrying out my
examination I have followed the Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145{5)(b) of the
2011 Act.
INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT
Since the charity's 8ross income exceeded £250,000 your cxaminer must be a member of a body listed in
section 145 of the 201 l Act. I confirni that l am qualified to undertake the examination because l am a
member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). which is one of the lisled
bodies.

The charity is a private company limited by guarantee. registered ill England and Wales and a
registered charity in England and Wales. The address of the principal office is 129 Stamford
Hill, London N16 5TW.
STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE
Tl)¢se financial statements have been prephred in compliance with FRS 102. 'The Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the R¢publi¢ of Ireland,, the Statement of
Recommended Practice applicable to charities prepttring their accounts in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Standard applicabl¢ in the UK and Republi¢ of Ireland (FRS 102)
(Charities SORP (FRS 102)) and the Charities A¢t 2011.
ACCOUNTING POLICIES
The following accounting policies have b¢¢n used consistently in the preparation of th¢
Financial Statements.
Ba8ls of accounting
The financial statements have been prepared on the historical cosi basis, as modified by the
revaluation of certain financial assets and liabilities and measured al fair value through income
or expenditure.
The financial slatements are prepared in sterling. which is the functional eurrency of the ¢ntity.
Judgements and key sour￿8 of ostimation uncertainty
The prepAr8tion of the financial statements requires management to make judgements.
estimates and assumptions that affect the amounts reported. These estimates and judgements
are continually reviewed and are based on experience and other factors, including expectations
of fulure events that are believed to be reasonable under the circumstances.
Fund accounting
Unr¢stri¢ted funds are available for use at Ihe discretion of th¢ trustees to further arty of the
charity's purposes.
Designated funds are unrestricted funds eam)8rked by the trustees for particular fviure project
or commitment.
Rcslricted funds are subjected to restrictions on their expenditure declared by the donor or
through th¢ tem]s of an appeal, and fall into one of two sub-classes: restricted incom¢ funds or
endowment funds.
Incoming re8ourees
All incomin8 resources are included in the statement of financial activities when entitlement
has passed io the charity. it is probable ihat the economic benefits associat¢d with the
transaction will flow to the charity and the amount can be reliably measured.
Income from donations or grants is recognised when there is evidence of entitlement to the gift,
r¢¢eipt is probable and its amount can be measured ￿ li&bly. Donations represent voluntary
amounts receivable during the year.

institutions in accordance with the charitable objects of the charity and its public benefit

Support Costs are those costs which are COTnmon lo all aregs of the organisation. These are
allocated across all areas of activity on the basis of the number of service users for each activity.
Governan¢e ¢osts
Governance costs are associated with the governance a￿angeMentS of the ch&rty and relate to
the general running of the charity. These costs include audil. le8al advice for Trustees &nd costs
associal¢d with mecting constitutional and sta￿l0ry requirem¢nts such as th¢ cost of Trustee
meetings and the preparation of the stututory accounts.
Taxation
The Charity is not liAble to direct taxation {COTW)ration tax) on its income as it falls within the

A financial asset or a financial liability is reeo8nised only when th¢ entity becomes a pArty to
the contractual provisions of the instrument.
