**For the Year Ending 31 December 2023** 

## **Introduction** 

The year 2023 was challenging for many, but with the continued support of benefactors and donors, the Keren Zedakah Foundation was able to carry out its mission to assist individuals and institutions in need. 

## **Overview of Activities** 

During the year, the Foundation received generous contributions from various trusts and benefactors, as well as from other charities. These funds were used for a variety of purposes: 

- **Grants to Institutions:** Small grants were made to several worthy institutions supporting education and welfare initiatives. 

- **Assistance to Families:** Donations were allocated to assist needy families facing economic hardships. 

- **Support for Yeshiva Students:** Funds were used to provide travel assistance for students pursuing studies abroad and to cover medical expenses for impoverished students. 

- **Community Support:** Grants were extended to assist disabled members of the community, providing essential aid for their wellbeing.

## **REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF KEREN ZEDAKAH FOUNDATION (Charity No. 284826)** 

I have examined the accounts of the above-registered charity for the year ending 31 December 2023, following the procedures laid down in the general directions provided by the Charity Commission under the Charities Act of Great Britain. 

I have reviewed the accounting records and discussed them with the trustees. No matter has come to my attention that gives me reasonable cause to believe that the appropriate requirements regarding the accounting records have not been met. Moreover, I have not become aware of any matter that requires special attention.
