Financial Review Income in 2024 £30,031 was significandy higher than 2023 £16.483. Iv)wever there were building repair and maintenance costs of £24.260 incurred during ihe year. Reserve Policy The Charity, B88T, prepares the reserve policy to provide assurance that th8 finances ol the charity are actively managed. and its activities are suitable. Sponsorship of th• San9ha We sponsor the Sangha from the monasteries in Myanmar and other countries who can p￿3¢h Buddhism and meditation practice. We provide the accommodation and the fo(xJ lor them. Regular Activities Regular aclivities i￿l￿ded teaching of the Dhamma. every èvéning Mindfulness meditation. ordination of novices, celebralions of birthdays and arsnivÈTsaries, officiaiing at births and weddings, giving ol the last riles and officiating al funerals. Celebraiions We are only able lo celebrate a lew ol our Special Buddhist Days to compty wth Brent's Conservation Area Directive,. with a very small Gongrega(ion and staggered attendance lo minimize capacity. The internationally renowned Vesak Oay. Buddha Day. and Kathina Day etc are held al the vihara wth curtailm8nl. Achievements Mediiation sessions held by the monks from ihe Vihara on every evening and long Tetreat on public holidays are mostly welcome antl attractive to those Buddhisl devotees. There are Buddhisl preaching and Dhamma teaching regularly.
