The financial a¢¢ounts have been prep8red and this report is applicable to the perlod running
from 1" April 2024_ 31¥l March 2025.
The Gurdwara has provided diverse and inclusive initiatives to the congreg8tion and visitors
alikef¥om allwèlk8 of Ilfe which h88 Yesulted IFI Increa86d attendance end empowe¥ment of
dlverse cultural 8nd rellgious education.
We have hosted school 8nd scout visits from Ioc81 and surrounding areas to raise awareness of
tho bellefs and tenets of the Sikh faith, which is based on equality 8nd inclusive. and welcomes
people of all b8Gkgrounds.
The following community project8 have been started:
Libr8ry-this service runs for two hours on 2 ancl 3 Saturday of each monlh and has been of
great Interest to children and adult8 allke. Th8 library has been lurnished and stocked with
books which are easily accesslble and available fre8 of charge to hire. The libr8ry also runs
home work clubs and asslsts children in their aduc8tional needs.
Garden project- thls is a communlty project th8t encourages children to growfrutt and
vegetables in the grounds of the Gurdwar8 so we can use thern in the Iroe kitchen. Children 8nd
adults are encouraged to actively participate in growing of the pl8nts and nurturing them.
Punlgbi. Kirtan 8nd Tabla classes are also provided for an hour, once 8 week where we provide
free classes to those wishing to master the art of reclting Sikh scriptures through song and
mU8ic and also learn speaklng and reading Gurmukhl language.
Santhiya clas8e8- these are ongoing and are run weekly. The Slkh Scriptures 8r6 recited under
the supervislon of a learned profession81.

ESOL 8nd Numeracy c18S88s were run by MK college for6-weekperiod8 where member5 Ot all
communiti88 attended. These classe8 were provided free of charge by the local college.
Goal setting empowermentworkshop-This workshopwas run for ladies from 14-22ye8rs of
age to promote self-awareness, raising esteem and tools to help set valuable goals in life,
The Gurdwarg has provided a place of worship and performence of various festivals, weddings,
fun8raLs and community events on a regular basis.
Flre safety equipment is regularly monltored and serviced as required. Afull BS7671 conditlon
report was completed on all remedlal work corrected.
