In 1972. The prackncality of our locabon near Inns of Court etc has always been cruual. So,
oblem arose during Ihe Covid cris5 as lewer lawyers came to work in their offices. Belore
lockdown, this remarkable frtt seNice had been helping 80-1W people/familte$ a week.

WAC'S incLwre was severely diswupted by lod(d(rwn be￿￿Se by that b'me it no longer
received any pvblic funding to th.de rt over. Rather. WAC has ￿l￿d on use of Ihe Baylts Road
buikjing morning lo evening 7 days a week to generate incorne lo cover almost all costs.

pOssi￿e as many"ordinary" pe¢Jple can't afford inner ￿ty prjces. The volunteenng and gifts in

travel around. They prove a particJJL8r blessing lo bereaved people before only travelkd with a
spouse by car. or who had spent so long caring for Slxmeone that Ihey had become isdated. Al least
