Appointed Trustees:
Under the Deed of Variation dated 23 May 2022, the Parochial Church Council of
Bishop Hannington Memorial Church IPCC) appoints no less than three trustees and
not more than five. In addition. there are ljvo trustees who hold office ex officio.
namely the Wicar of Bishop Hannington Memorial Church and the PCC appointed

World Mission Co-ordinator. At a meeting of the Council on 23 May 2022, the
followln8 trustees were appointed for a term of three years, and these
appointments were renewed for a further three years during 2025. An appointed
trustee may serve for a maximum of three consecutive periods of 3 years.

The object of the Trust is th¢ advancement of th¢ Christian faith by providttt8 fiwds to assist in
eXt￿ding, developing and maintaining the outreach of the Christian Church tbrough spreading the
Gospel of the Lord Jequs Christ in the world. These ￿ndS are distributed to various C￿Lst1all societies
and individual workers involved in this Gospel outreaclL both ill the UK and other parts of the woild.
The Charity's Trustees have complied with the duty of Section 4 of the Charlties Act 2006 to hav¢ du¢
regard to Pub￿.¢ Benefit guidance published by the Chatity Coll]mission.
AIthou8h several of th¢se societie& their members and the individual W0￿er5 in the course of their
Christian senic£ provide a)SiStance OL projects to relIe￿.e Pfjv&iy. tbeii VAu￿A￿liativTh v"1 tFiC &-
News of Jesus Christ is where the over-riding and unique benefit arises. Those who Tespond Positively

foTgiven¢ss fot all their sitL and thev enter into a deep relationship with God which assures them of
¢verlasting life with Him in Heaven throughout eternity.

The Trust has no employees. The ChairyeTson, Tre&5ur¢r, S￿retary and an Appoinl¢d Trustee handle
ils day-to-day administration. The Trustees met four times in 2025 to review the Trnsvs activitie8
identity projects to be supwrted through sp￿la1 appeals and to approve the distribution ot.the ift¢orn¢
rec¢iv¢d from oth¢r sour¢¢s, if considetcd apptopriat< ill accoidaDce with any requests expressed by
the donors. The Trust is not a grant IrJ&iing i rilst &8 tha4 eATrf¢s•iOTh is usuallj int¢rpT¢t¢Q and do¢s
not solicit or invit¢ applications for grants.
In 2025. other than cornnitted thnds falling due for pavment within one Year. 63 % of the Trusvs
income was th'stributed as specifically requested by the donors ('restricted funds.) compaTed with
i[￿ 43°h in tILe previous year. The remaining income which w&8 donated to the Trust for the Trustees
to distribut¢ as they saw ht ('unTestricted tunds,) was used to support Christian mission societies
linked with Bishop Hannington Memorial Chwch, and Christian workers linked with that Church al
serving outside the parish an& at the Trustees, disLretioD. to meet emergency iequests and &ssist oÉh¢r
projects.

The Trust Deed gives th¢ Trust¢¢s wr¢strict¢d wwers of investtllent. It is their no[￿al policy to
distribute the Trus¢s ill￿￿e on a re8ular basis and only T¢tain a relatively small amount as reseTves to
meet any appropTi8te emergency requests li)r tinanci21 supp)rt. Th¢ Trust's r¢s¢ry¢s ot restricted limdg
held on 31 December 2025 amounted to £3,871. th¢ sam¢ amount at the end of the previous year.
The Trust has no capital assets.

cir¢a 18Yo ov¢r 2024. Consequently. taking ¢verythin8 into ¢i)nsid¢ratioD, tota] fimds held at the end
of the year were £1 1.673 compared with £20.758 at the end of 2024. Details of the amounts

The Trustees int¢nd to colltillue to encourage the memiws of Bishop Hannington Mem￿la1 Church to
support, by prayer and 8iving. the work of spreading the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ outside the
parish ot that c.hurch.
