The Charity Trustees have also been mindful of the Charity Commission guidance when preparing the three year business plan. The experience of having access to the sea often results in long lasting benefits. Apart from the simple pleasure of being out at sea our passengers often benefit from a range of differing outcomes from improved confidence, communication, friendships. relaxation, escape from isolation, and new skills such as basic navigation and helming the boat. The comments given from carers, letters of thanks, testimonials, repeat visrf(s and the enomous appreciation received from the many differing communities of Weymouth, Portland and beyond remain an inspiration to the entire charity.

1.20 - Summa of the main achievements of the charit identi the differen￿ charit 's work has made to the circumstan￿$ of it's beneficiaries and to an benefits to wider societ as a whole. The season 2023-2024 has seen bookings back to pre-covid levels. Boat trips left the berth in Weymouth twice a day, Monday to Friday, from the beginning of April to early October. In total over 1700 passenger trips were made during the season and the number could have been much higher were it not for cancellations which were as a result of unsuitable weather. The fund-raising and PR team have been very active throughout the year which has resulted in an increase in bookings from outside the immediate geographical area. With information widely available via the webstte and with brochures in most of the local hotels and B & Bs there has been an increase in demand from holiday makers visiting the area. There is no other organisation based in the Weymouth and Portland area that can provide access to the sea specially tailored for people living with disabilities. The boat has been specifically designed to accommodate up to six wheelchairs and has a fully a￿ssIble toilet facility- The service that the charity offers continues to be used extensively by care homes and day care providers for the enjoyment of their clients. 1.21 1.22 - 1.23- 1.24. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2024.

Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
