parents and others associated with the School;

To act as a forum for the staff and parents to meet

issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.| ## **Achievements and Performance** Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. St Paul’s Cathedral School association runs a wide range of events both to raise funds for the school’s ‘nice to have’ and to provide social opportunities for the pupils, parents and staff. These include regular events like cake sales and discos, plus annual community events such as the quiz night, and summer fair. These events are planned and volunteered by the committee, paying regard to appropriate safeguarding and risk assessments. This year the committee approved several request for donations from the school. These include:- - £6,500 towards the refurbishment of the school art room - £8,000 for Christmas treats for the whole school, plus discos and presents - £200 for a staff room coffee machine - £1,700 for filming of Pre-Prep nativity plays - £250 for a football table for the boarding house - • £1,600 for benches in the playground - £250 for storage trolley - £2,000 on coaches - PC for sports department - £530 Year 7 bonding trip - £350 Year 4 Zoo visit - Rucksacks for Year 8 hike - £2,500 donation towards Year 7 & 8 French trip - £800 Year 6 trip Fundraising activities included termly cake sales, secondhand uniform sales, tea-towel sales and the Summer Fair, plus revenue from a raffle held at the Summer fair and at Easter. We received commission from the sale of pupil-drawn Christmas cards and from the sale of school merchandise. Regular income includes an (optional) subscription from each family per term of £5 and commission from easyfundraising and Amazon Smile of almost £350, plus the popular second-hand uniform sales (over £5,000). Financial Reserves The work of SPCSA helps to fulfil our objectives of fundraising for the school and bringing the school community together socially. We have endeavoured to ensure that PTA funds benefit every child throughout the school, enhancing and enriching the pupils’ educational experience at St Paul’s Cathedral School.
