set out in the governing document. This
refers to two broad aims:
The first of these is the promotion of the
religious work carried on by the company of
Christians meeting at 57 Islington Park
Street and by other gatherings of Christians
in communion with the said company of
Christians either in the British Isles or
overseas.
The second is for the relief of poverty
among members of the said company of
Christians and of such other gatherings of
Christians including the care of the elderly.
(It should be noted that 57 Islington Park
Street, was one address of a meeting place
of the said company of Christians at the
time the foundation was established. That
meeting place has since been sold (too
impractical and expensive for the
congregation there to maintain), but the
company of Christians remains gathering in
other rooms in the UK and elsewhere) and
the Trust continues support for the said
