**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY THE PROVISION OF SCHOLARSHIP TO ENABLE ELIGIBLE STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEWFOUNDLAND TO PURSUE EITHER UNDERGRADUATE OR POST GRADUATE STUDIES IN GREAT BRITAIN AND TO ENABLE ELIGIBLE STUDENTS BEING RESIDENTS OF HARLOW TO PURSUE SUCH STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OR OTHER INSTITUTE OF LEARNING IN NEWFOUNDLAND.

**Activities:** The advancement of education by the provision of scholarships and bursaries to enable eligible students of the Memorial University of Newfoundland who wish to study in the United Kingdom whilst living at the Harlow Campus and also of men and women who live, study or work in Harlow, irrespective of age, who wish to pursue a course of studies in Newfoundland.
