In making tl)ese grants the Ti'uslees liave refei'red to the giiidanee contained in the Charity
Commission's guidance on public benefit. In particulai- the Trustees ¢onsidei'ed liow planned activities
conti'ibute to the aims and obje¢liv¢s of the Chai'ity and are satisfied tl)at this is the case.
Grant Making Policies
Gi'ant appli¢ations ale reviewed to ensure they comply with the requirements of the Charity and the
Ti'ustees authorise each payment.
FINANCE REVIEW
Results for the Year
The Charity plans lo expend ils in¢ome on cliai'ilable donations, whilst keepiiig its eapital intact.
In the year the Chai'ity received investment income aiid bank intei'est of £91,427 and expended £106,905,
resulting in net expenditui'e for Ilie period of £15,478 before losses on investinenl assets.
The Chai'ity saw a de¢i'ease of £120,582 in the mai'ket value of ils inv¢stm¢nts duriiig the yeai.. The
inv¢stmenl portfolio is managed pi'ofessionally.
Reseiwes Policy

expenditui'e.
The Capital Fund is investd lo produce incoine foi. the Income Fund.

Basis of Preparatioii and Assessmeiit of going Concern
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention with items recognised at
cost or transaction value unless otherwise slated in the relevant notes lo 1S]ese accounts. They
have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice Accounting and
Reporting by Cliariiies preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting
Standards applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 102) and the Financial Reporting
Standard applicable in the United Kir)gdom and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102 effective January
2019) and the Charities Act 2011.
