We have examined the accounts of Hockley Community Centre Association for the year
ended 31 August 2022 set out on pages 2 to 4.

The charlty's tnjstees are responsible for the preparation of the acwunts. The chariVs
trustee5 consider that an audit is not required for this year (under wtion 4312) of the
Charities Act 19931th8 act)>anthlhal an Independent examlnatlon Is needed.

Our examinats'on was carried out in accordance wlth General Directions given by the
Charity Commi55ioneTS. An examination includes a review of the accounting records
kept by the charity and a coEnparison of the a¢￿tsnts presented with those record8.

seeking explanations from the Iru51ees concerning such matters. The procedures
undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and

The Hockl8y Communty Centre Associatr>n was fOrn￿d In January 1981 its principal
objective being to provide the local communty witr¢ a focal point In the provision of sporting.
leisure and cultural pursyits.
The charity does not have any specffic investment aims other than the purchase and
maintenance of Its freehold land and bulldings.

The Injstees are elected annualty by the ehadvs membership at its Annual G8naral Meoling and
each forms part of the Hockley Community Centre Assoctation's general committee.

Community Centre is used in accordance with its ¢onstitution.
Actlvhla• •nd achl•v•ments
The charfty has the very Simple objective of the purchase and the maintenance, lo an excellent
stale of repair, of its freehold land and ￿1k11ngs. The trustees consider that this goal has bèen
achieved more than satisfaGlority.
Poll¢l
The charity has the $018 investment objective of the maintenance of ts freehold property and do88
not undertake any other investments. The level of reserves held sre those that are adequats to
enable the Community GÈntre to meet its investment targets.
