ended 31 August 2021 set oul on pages 2 to 4.

The charitys trustees are responsible for the p￿para￿On of the accounts. The chan￿6
trustees consider that an audit is not required for trtis year (under ￿tion 43(2) of the
Charities Act 1993 (the act)) and that an independent examination is ne&J•J.
It is our responsibility to..

The Hockley Communty Centr8 Ass(Ki0￿on was fomed in January 1981 ￿th its principal
objective being to provide the local communty wlih a focal point in th& provision of SFX)rt(ng,
leisure and cultural pursuits.
The charity does not have any Specific investment ￿ffl$ other than the purchase and
maintenance of its freehokl land and bulldings.

The trustees are elected annualty by the charlvs membership at Annu81 General Meetlng and .
each foms part ol the Hockley Communlty Centre AssocIa￿on'8 general commrttee.
Between and four other trustee8 are elected by the general commlttee lo ensure that the
Community Centre Is used in accordance with its constitution.
It is hop8d, Coronavirus reslrictions pemiitti'ng. that the 2022 Annual General Meellng will be held
in the spring of this year. Unfortunately. owing to the pandemic, it was not possible to hold an
Annual General Meeting in 2021.

The charity has the very slmple oblectfve of the purchase and the mainten8n¢e, to an excellent
stale of repair, of rts freehold land and buiklings. The trustees consider that this goal has b&on
achieved more than satisfaclority.

The Charity has the sole Investrnent oblectrve of the rnaintenanee of its freehold propety and does
not undertake any other investments. The level of reserves held are those that are adequate to
enable the Community Centre to meet tts investrnent tsrgets.
