WHITEPARISH MEMORL4L TRUST (Charity No. 282528} EPORT &AC UNTS Year Ending 30 April 2026 The Trust had an uneventful year wÈth most key financial items being similar to last year. The two main purchases were a new carpet lor the Cowesfield Room and the installation of Hive heating controls. A further £4,000 was received from the windRng up of the Adrian Kennedy estate- excluding this the Trust made a surplus of £9,834 for theyear. Mem The new Hive controls mean that the heating and hot water can be controlled remotely from an App which together with the new solar panels probably helped keep the energy costs slightly below lastyearfs figure at £9,300- three years ago they were less than half this amount Hire Fee5 reached a new high of £24,430 - 6% above last year. Exercise groups remain the b2ggest source of hiring income- more than a quarter of the total. The Trust purchased pic]deball equipment and bookings for that have quickly taken off, reaching £1,800 in just 6 months. Pla Field Wellow Youth FC unfortunately didn't return for their football training but it looks like Salisbury FC will be hiring the pitch for at least 2 youth teams from September. The Cricket Club installed water harvesting equipment and are considering an artificial pitch. Fundr The IO0+ Club membership was maintained and contributed £2,565. The Winter Ball returned £2,375 but it wasn't possible to organise the quiz night this year. The Trust thanks Sarah Skeates for again donating the profits of £501 from her wreath m2kingworkshop. Thanks also to the Parish Council for a Grant of £1.165 to fund repairs to the Playground. Looki ead The Trust is looking to raise money by exporting excess electricity to the grid and erecting a mast to improve mobile phone reception so that smart meters will work We look forward to Salisbury FC playing weekly matche5 throughout the season.
