TRUSTEES OFFICIAL REPORT
Summary of Activities
The Pavilion and Playing Field continue to be very popular with the local community and it’s pleasing to report activities and income have continued to increase thus maintaing its solid financial position. Thanks must go to the General Committee and especially to Alison Hayes, the Bookings Secretary and to all the volunteers. Continuous improvements to the facilities are ongoing which encourages usage.
Projects completed during the past year:

Handrails for the new steps outside the Pavilion leading onto the playing field
-
the Emergency Generator, sponsored by Burwash Parish Council, has been installed, along with the necessary wiring, to help in the event of any major incident or power failure within the local area.

Dead hedge continues to be supported, and is ongoing. This help to reinforce the existing hedge along Goodsoal Lane at the bottom of the Playing Field.

The carpark entrance has been partly resurfaced with tarmac.
-
Stock fencing along Goodsoal Lane is currently work in progress along with the fitting of a footpath entrance gate.
Possible future projects:

Solar panel on Pavilion roof
-
Petanque pitch, quotes received and grants applied for to help with construction.

Replacement of fencing around the children’s play area.

Improvements to the Playing Field drainage and overall condition of the grass surface in some areas of the field is ongoinG.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES
Respective Responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
The Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the annual reports. The Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Charities Act”) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:

Examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act,

To follow the procedures laid down under general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act and

To state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to my attention which gives me cause to believe that, in any material respect:
