Objectives and activities:

The Trustees are authorised under a Deed of Covenant dated 4[th] April 1989 to distribute the funds received, to persons or organisations either registered as legally charitable under the laws of England or are so regarded in the eyes of the trustees, whilst having regard each time that public benefit nationally and/or internationally has been satisfied. Among the objectives of the Trust, reflected in the accompanying accounts, are the extension of evangelism on a worldwide basis to assist the development of the Christian faith, including the translation of the Bible, distribution and sharing of the Bible, ministerial training, and Christian broadcasting.

Achievements and performance:

During the financial period 2025/26, the Trustees received satisfactory reports from all recipients of grants.

After due consideration of all appeals received by December 31[st] 2025, the Trustees were able make nine new grants totalling £29,534. Our accounts show one other grant of £3,000, sent within last year’s accounting period, but not expensed by the receiver within last year’s accounts.

These grants will support UK registered charity appeals for the proclamation of the Christian faith through literacy, training, translation, logistics and media, both within the UK and overseas. The Trustees satisfied themselves that the funds they granted were to be used in accordance with the beneficial purpose for which they were requested. The grants are listed in the financial summary that follows.

Structure, Governance and Management:

Currently the four trustees preserve the ethos, structure, governance, and management of the Trust. The Trust is dependent on income from an investment portfolio, provided by the late founder, Mr Eric Gahagan, and his wishes that the trust continues in perpetuity.

Appeals, preferably sent online, must be received before December 31[st] each year, and will be shared with all trustees in preparation for their annual grant making meeting generally held in February the following year. This ensures as much income as possible has been received for the benefit of successful applicants. Only successful applicants will be notified; the trustees generally do not respond to rejected appeals.

Value of Investment portfolio with Fidelity International on 05.04.26 was advised as £666.698.03 No Trustee claimed or received a salary or expenses during the period of these accounts. The examination of accounts was given as a gift to the Trust.
