Respective responslbllftles of trustets and exarnlner The charitrfs trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 42(2} of the charitles Act 1993 (the Act) and that an Independent examlnatlon is needed. It is my responsibility to: Examlne the accounts (under sectlon 43 of the Act); To follow the procedures laid down in the General directlons glven by the Charlty Commission (under section 4317)(bl of the Act}; and To state whether partlcular matters have come to my attention. Basls of the Independent examlnerfs report My examlnation was carrled out in accordance wlth the General directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a revlew of the accounting records kept by the charfty and a comparlson of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeklng explanations from you as trustees concernin8 any such matter5. The procedure5 undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
