The Charity continued lo run the church. Greek school and Nursery. to fuKIl its objectives and help
spreading the Greèk Orthodox Faith.

21 The Charity's foodbank initiative has continued and grown, we currently service 250 families a week
through the support of the Felix project. and Enfield Coun01.

some hot food.
41 The Charity transformed a previously car parf¢ area in Logan road into a funelional and welcoming

Chalmian's Repotrt Review of A¢tivitlè8 and Financial Positio
The Greek Orthodox Comtnunity of St DeTnetnos Incoming rt$ource$ derrea$ed by £31.037 antl
expenditure by £57.435. This is mainly due to dosure of the Nursery. Nel movement in reserves
however increasèd by £40,607 resulting in unrestricted funds of £1,524.900 8$ at Ihe Balance Sheet
date. Th8 financial position keeps improving.
The Charity continued to run the church and provide a school for ils young comrnunity wth over 240
ildren attendin9 the G￿ek S¢hool. These Continued adivilie$ provided the publi¢ a fa¢ility to prey and
advance the Christian faith and prOV￿@d young children in the locAI community with learning facilities.
Unfortunately. adverse weather conditions meant that the 2024 Fe51pial could not lake place as
plannad. However, in response, we introduced a series of organised visits to monasleiYa5 and other
churches across the UK and other countne$. These trip$ have provided valuable gPPOrtunilies for
fellowship, ￿flectIOn, and the continued fulfilment of our charitable aims despite the ¢an¢e11alion of th&
main event.

The trustees hav& examined the requirement for free reserves which are those UnreStr￿ted funds not
invested in fixed assets, dasignated for specific purposes or othewse restricted.
Consideriw the level of funds borfowed the Trustees are determined that the level of reserves
secure adequate working ¢apilal for the CO￿ Costs.
Revaluation res&rves are excluded by the Trust88s in their eonskleration of an adequate reseNes limit.

independent examination is needed. The charity gross income exceeded £250,000 and l am qualified
lo undertake the examination by being a qualified member of ACCA. It is my responsibilrty lo examine
the accounts under section 145 of the Act and lo Slate, on the basis of procedures specified in the
General Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act 2011.. and
state whether partrular mallers have come to my allenlion.

My examination was carried out in accordance with the Geneml Directions given by the Charity
Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
