2.3 Trustee selertion methods
There must be at least three charity tfustees. In accordance wtth the Constitution, Trustees are
appointed or r&appointed at a properly converted Annual General Meeting of the club mernber&
In appointing Trustees due consideration is given to ensuring that the Trustees have. between
them. the skills and experien￿ necessary to manage the d￿fEty effectively and in accordance with
charity law.

Achievements & performance
4.1 Outputs and outcomes for the charirfs benefKlaries
2023 has been a busy year with an active range of
weekly meet￿ngS for the senior dub who meet on a
Wednesday evening and thejuniors who meet on the
firsi Friday of the month.
Membership has increased with over 70 members
making the club the largest in Buckirvdhamshire.
Members are active at County and National with
several member5 represented the dub tomwing at
South East area and National.

PRYFCJunior Tug of warteam represented
Bu(kinghamshire at National pulling at the Tenby
show arEd at the GENSB 2024 International youth tug
of war toumament.
Fundraising events held continue to be well supported
WTth Bonfire and Firewo￿5 eveni￿ ￿n80, and our
annual t*nner Dance.

With lots of new members this yearfs
Bud(inghamshire Country Show was the first
time they had experrenced competing against
other clubs in a range of ccmpetitions. Buildin8
on the success from previous years the dub won
the Country SPKJW for a third year in a row.
PRYFC (Dntinues to invest in members with
members attending a first aid course. Four
members benefited from the £150 CV enhanung
grant wrth two junior members completin8 a Lantra Tractor Dri¥lng 13-15 years old course and two
members claimirE it a8ainttthe costs to pass their driving tesL
To end the year the
club was a finalist in
the British Young
Famiers awards
attending an awards
ceremony at
Cannon Hall. The
judge5 commenting
that the work the
dub has done to
enhan(r the skills of
their members was impressive and helps to prepare them for
life outside YFC. They were also impressed vAth the charity work
and how the club had S￿)W￿ themselvesto be a key part ofthe
communtty.

How the public have benefitted
The charity reuuits its members from the area
surrounding Princes Risborough. Anyone aged 10
to 28 years can be a membèr of PRYFC to
participate in activities and discussions that
increase their knowledge of agriculture. uafts rural
affairs and country life.
In December 2023 the dub hosted its first
Christmas charity tractor run. With c225 tractors
and commercial vehicles attending it raised £9.3k
split equally between Rennie Grove Peace Hosly￿ and
Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institubon {RABII.
Building on previous years. PRYFC collerted over E4X)
Christmas trees raising £4.8k for Rennie Grove Peace
Hosptce. Adding the proffts from the annual Oinner
Dante raffle. the dub increased this amount to be able
to P￿Sent £5.5k. Having raised over £17k over the last
three years. Rennie Grove pea￿ Hospi￿ named the
club 3s 3 star supporter wvth an ambassador attending
the club v advisory meeting to thank the members and
provide information of howthe money raised is used.

Financial review
5.1 Policy on reserves
The thariWs policy on reserves is to 8ener*e and malrrt￿n a reserve whith will allow suffiaent
funds to-
al maintain the financial viability of ￿ charity in the eventof unforeseen andlor unavoidable
circumstance that brin8s a short-term fall in its income:

establish a new and innovative project on a project basis to demonstrate the feasibility of such

For these purposes the charity will endeavour to maintain reserves at a suffident level as deemed
appropriate by the trustees.
5.2 Prinapal sources of funding and outgoings
The key source of income comes from fundraising activities through the year. Members pay a
subscription whith covers the lewes paid to County.
5.3 Remuneration of trustees
All trustees act in a voluntsry capaaty and re￿1¥¢ no remuneratlon orother materlal benefits from
their Servic￿ to the charity.
OLrt-of-pocket expenses nece5sarify and reasonably irKwrred bytrustees in promoting the purposes
of the charity are reimbursed at cost and against receipt only.
5.4 Finanaal ststus
The charl￿S current resour￿S from unre5tritted membership subsuiption5 and annual fundraising
attivities meet its expernse& Forec&ts are that this will remain the case for the foreseeable future.
