Report of the Trustees

The Trustees present thelr report and flnandal statement for the year ended 31Jt March
2024.
The organisation Is an unincorporated charity estsblished by a Trust Deed dated 16th May
1980 and amended by a Deed dated 31* December 2016 and both re8i5tered with the
Charity Commission.
Trustees
Under the terms of the Trust Deeds there must be at least three and not more than ten
Trustees. The appointment of new Trustees is vested in the exlstin8 Trustees. All the existing
Trustees are familiar with the Charivs work having served for some time. New Trustee5 are
educated in the Charit*5 workin8s and their responsibilities by the existin8 Trustees.
Investment
Under the term5 of the Trust Deed, the Trustees have the power to make any investment
they see frt.
Mana
ement
The Trustees are directty involved in all management aspects of the organi5ation.
Risk Mana
ement
The Trustees have condurted a review of the major risks to which the Charity 15 exposed. A
risk re8iSter has been estsblished and wlll be updated annually.
Obie¢tlves and activltles
The main aim of the Trust is the advancement of education of young people by helping
them to develop their mental and spiritual capacities through leisure time activities.
particularly in the tradition of the Brady aub5 and SettlemenL and to document the
heritage of the Clubs and its exemplar of the benefits of Youth Clubs.
Flnandal revlew
The Trust receives 8rants and donations from welkwishers. indudin8 fundin8 from the
Rothschild Hanadiv Europe Foundation to archive photographs and other material. and to
promote the heritsge of the Brady aubs.
Reseryes
In general, the Trustees aim to ensure that sufficient reserves are held to meet the Trusys
alms and aspirations.
Plans for future perfods
The Trustees intend to continue to focus on helping youn8 pe(wle wlth their education and
to develop their physlcal, mentsl and spiritual capacities in accordance with the charlWs

objectives and in the tradition of the Brady aubs. and to continue archiving of photographs
and other materials with further fvnding frorn the Rothschild Hanadiv Etsrope Foundation.
ststement of Trustee¢ responslbilltles
The Trustees are responslble for preparing the Trustee5' Annual Report and the financlal
statement in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accountin8 Standards
(UKGAAP).
Law applicable to charities in Eft8land and Wales require the Trustees to prepare financial
statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affair5 of
the charity and of the incoming resources of the charity for that year. In preparing these
flnancial statements the Trustees are requlred to".
Select suitable accounting ￿￿1cleS and apply them consistently.
Observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP.
Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent.
State whether UK Accounting Standards have been followed, subject to any materlal
departures disclosed and explained in the financial ststements, and
Prepare the financial statements on the going con￿rn basis unless It is inappropriate
to presume that the charity will continue in operation.
The Trustees are also responsible for keeping proper account records which disclose with
feasonable accuracy at any time the financlal positlon of the charity and enable them to
ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charsties Act 2011 and the Charity
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2(X)8 and the provisions of the Trust Deed. They are
also responsible for safeguardln8 the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable
steps for the provision and detection of fraud and other re8ular4ties.

I report to the Trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Bradlans Trust (the Trust}
forthe year ended 31# March 2024.
Responslbllltl•s and basls of report
As the charity Tfustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts
in accordance with the reqU1￿ments of the cl￿ritieS Art 20111'the Art'l.
I report In respect of my examinatlon of the Trusys accounts carried out under s. 145 of the
2011 Att and In carrylng out my examlnatlon I have followed all the applicable Directlons
given by the Charlty Commlsslon under s. 145{5)Ib} of the Act.

I have completed my examlnatlon. I confirm that no materlal matters have come to my
attention in connectlon wlth the examlnatlon 8ivin8 rne cause to belleve that In any materlal
respect:
111 Accountin8 records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by sertlon 130
of the Act; Of
121 The accounts do not accord with those records; or
(3} The accounts do not comply wlth the appllcable requirements concemlng the form
