The relief of woiiien suffering from post-natal depression or conditions of sei'ere or prolonged
depression or related illness arising from pregnanc), which threatens their mental or phj'sical
liecilth or emotional stcibilit), anLI the promotion of research into Post-natal depression or illness
anil tlie dissemination of the results thereof.
Review of Activities
The Association's current membership comprises 392 l'olunteers anLI 22 clepressed mothers
receiiying supp()rt. There arL, 829 paiLI up menibers of the supporters, scheine. During 2023, 29
mother.8 became ivell agatn and no longer needed volunteer support. The Ass(Kiation offers
support ilia e-mail ancl phone.
The Association receii'es between 2-6 letters per week along with 6-12 phone calls per week and
20 e-mails per week. This actii'it}' depends on publicit}, in the rnedia. During tlie )'ear there
were 46 people who useil the liiFe Chat facilit!, M'e offer. The APNI lias 1,461 folloTh'L'rs on
liistagrani anil our Facebook page has 1,800 folloivers. Siobhaii posts oli tliese sitLs5 and the
