TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILITIES
The Trustees are required under the Charities Act 2011 to prepare the financial 5tatement5 for each financial year
3nd which give a true and fair view ol the Charity's financial activities during the year and of Its financial position
at the end of th& ye3r. In preparing those finantial statements giving a true and lair view, the Trustees should
follow the best practice and,.

will continue in operation.
The Trustees confirm that they have complied with the above requirernent5 in the preparing the financial

The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at
any time the financial position of the Charity and which enable them to ascertain the financial position of the
Charity and which enable them to ensure that financial statement5 comply with the requirements of the Charities

ACCOUNTING POLICIES
8ASIS OF PREPARATION
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention with the excoption that
investments ar8 stated at market value. The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the
Statement ol Recommended Practice "Accountin8 and Reporting by Charities" IFRS 1021 ellective I" January 2019
and with the Charities Act 2011.
INCOMING RESOURCES
All incominÉ resources are accounted for in the period in which the charity is entitled to receipt.
FUND ACCOUNTING
All ol the Trust's funds are unrestricted, being 3vzilable for use at the d15cretion of the Trustees in furtherance of
the ceneral objectives ol the Trust. Designated funds are unrestTlCted lund5. Set aside at the discretion of the
Trustees lor specific purpose5.
RESOURCES EXPENDED
Liabilities are recognised a5 resources expended a5 soon as there is a legal or contractual obllgation commitiing the
Charity 10 the expense. All expenditure is accounted lor on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings
that aggreÈate all costs related to the category.
Donations payable are payments made to third partie5 in the furtherance ol the charitable objectives ol the trust
and are charged in the year in which they are rnade.
COSTS OF GENERATING FUNDS
The Costs ol generating funds consist ol investment man3dement costs. Management and administration costs are
those Incurred in connection with the management of the Trust's assets, organisational administration and
CDrnpliance with constitutional and statutory requirements.
CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES
Costs ol charitable activities include donations made.
GOVERNANCE COSTS
Governance cost5 comprise all costs involving the public accountability of the Charity and its compliance with
regulation and good practice. These costs include costs related to the independent oxarnin3tion.
FIXED ASSET INVESTMENTS
Investments are stated at market value as at the balance sheet date. The statement of financial activities includes
the net gains and1055e$ 3rising on revaluation and di5P05als throughout the year.
UNREALISED GAINS AND LOSSE5
All gains and1055es are taken to the statement of financial activitie5 as they arise. Unreali5ed gains and lossos are
calculated as the difference between the market value at the year end and opening market value lor purchase date
