Blakeney Village Hall and Pavilion Trust Trustees, Report for the Year Ended 31 March 2025 The trustees present their report and the unaudited finanoal statemerhts of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2025. Objectives and artivities The object of the Charity. in accordance wtth its Trust Deed. is to improve the condition5 of life for the village's inhabitants. The principal activity of the Trnst is the provisron and maintenance of Blakeney Village Hall. This is achieved by the hiring out of the hall and the running of a bar as an adjuntt to certain hirings. The Tru5tee5 confirm they have refe￿e￿ to the general guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. Athievements and performance The Committee believes the Trust's affairs to be satisfactory. Hiring fees are intended to cover the running costs of the hall and any surplus is generated from the bar. The Trust coritinues to rely upon the unpaid seryices of several individuals who live within the locality. The financial position of the Trust remains secure with any surplus fund5 being invested in a deposlt fund held by the CCLA. Financial review At 31 March 2025 the Trust had total funds of £275.744 12024= £262.2501. Of these. £123.61312024.. £123.6131 are restricted and fully invested in property. Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Blakeney Village Hall and Pavilion Trust I report to the trustees on my examination of the financial statements of Blakeney Village Hall and Pavilion Trust I'the charity'l for the year ended 31 March 2025 which comprise the Statement of Financial Activities, the Balance Sheet and related notes. This report is made solely to the charivs trustee5. as a body. in accordance %wth settion 145 of the Charities Act 2011. My work has been undertaken so that I might state to the charity's trustees those matters l am required to srate to them in this report and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent peTmitted by law. I do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than the charity and the charity's trustees as a b￿¥, for my wotk. for this report, or for the opinions I h3ve formed. Responsibilities and basis of report As the trustees of the charity you a￿ responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111.the Art'l. I report in respect of my examination of the charity's financial statements carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Cornmi5sion under section 14515llbl of the Act. The address of the principal office is Langhaffl Road, Blakeney. Holt. NR25 7PG, England. Atcounting policies Basis of preparation These financial statements have been prepared in compliance with FRS 102. The Financial Reportin8 Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.. the Ststement of Recomwnended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance wtth the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 Icharities SORP IFRS 10211 and ihe Chatttie5 Act 2011. The financial statements have been prepared on the historical cosi basis. as modified by the revaluation of certain financial assets and liabilities and investment properties measured ai fair value through income or expenditure. The financial statements are prep3red in stedin& which is the functional currency of the entity. For the current year the accounts have been p￿Pared on a receipt and payment basis. The cornparative year was prepared on the accruals basis. Going Concern There are no material uncertainties about the charity'5 ability to coniinue. Incoming resources All incoming resources are included in the statement of financial attivities when revenue is received by the charity. Fund accounting Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees. Restricted funds can only be used for particular restricted purposes withtn the object5 of the charity.
