This community heritage project explores the history around the 1978 gnti-racLSt uprising or8art15ed by the Bengali community
around Brick Lane and is delivered wilh Beng￿l heritage organisation Swadhinath TTUSt and Paul Trevor. The proje¢1 conllnued in
the year, with volunt¢¢r meetings and oral history interviews going onlin¢. Vtslunieers ffcorded interviews with over 20 of the
original Bri¢k Lane 1978 actLVlSts as captured in the plk)tO8Taphs of photogrdpher Paul Trevor. The Projeci w&$ extended by a year
as a result of the Covid pandemic to be compleied in the SUMM￿ of 2022. In th¢ final year voluThteers will work with the 5toff team
