Pod visits provide an opportunity for
children, young people and their families
to forget their worries, relax and share in

were scheduled at 126 hospitals and
hospices. By mid-March Pod
entertainers had provided 556 visits at
hospitals and hospices in the following
areas: London (33), West Midlands (15),
East Midlands (7), North West (19),
Yorkshire (8), North East (5), South East
(8), Central Midlands & South(14), South
West (3), Wales (10), Scotland (4).

**There had been 556 Pod visits by mid March when all visits were suspended due to the corona virus pandemic. During the course of the year both Pod and the hospitals carried out Risk Assessments and stricter Infection Control Guidelines were introduced but there were only a further 14 visits towards the end of the year at 3 hospitals.
