Explanation of any Un￿rtaIntieS about The cost of all activrties due to infLAtion has made r( hard to budget for
the charity continuing as a going
future shows as costs are rising daily. The biggest increase in cost has
concern
been theatre hire, rehearsal Spa￿ and equipment hire. The trustees
wlll keep a dose eye on budgets as these need to be constant
adjusted forthese increasin8 costs. Wtth that said, the charity is still in a
good finantial posttion. therefore the trustees believe the charity is a
going concem.
The chariws principal sour￿5 of funds Funds forthe thatity are raised primarily through ticket sale5,

participation and membership fees. and fundraising and donations.
A descrlptlon of the winupol ri5k5
fadng the tharity
The biggest risks to the charity are the ever-in￿eaS1Dg costs of putting
on a show across the board due to inflation linduding increased theat
rents, rehea￿a15pa￿ costs and sound/lightinghire)- The charity will try
to offset these rising costs by increasing ourshow fees and fundraising
more funds through cast events.
Centre Stage London does not have any material 3mounts of cash to invest. therefore has no investment policy.

## **Independent examiner’s report to the trustees of Centre Stage London**

I report to the trustees on my examinaon of the accounts of the ABY Trust (the Trust) for the year ended 05 April 2023.

## **Responsibilies and basis of report**

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparaon of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charies Act 2011 (‘the Act’).

I report in respect of my examinaon of the Trust’s accounts carried out under secon 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examinaon I have followed all the applicable Direcons given by the Charity Commission under secon 145(5)(b) of the Act.

## **Independent examiner’s statement**

connecon with the examinaon giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

1. accounng records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by secon 130 of the Act; or

2. the accounts do not accord with those records.

I have no concerns and have come across no other maers in connecon with the examinaon to which aenon should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
