**Objects:** TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF MEAT HYGIENE AND INSPECTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, TO PROMOTE RESEARCH THEREIN, TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH AND TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDSOF MEET INSPECTION.

**Activities:** During the year, the Trust runs an annual seminar and exhibition, produces a quarterly magazine 'The Meat Hygienist', which is made available to all members free of charge, promoted meat hygiene and inspection, promoted education in meat hygiene and inspection and continuing professional development amongst meat hygiene inspectors.
