Acbi¢vetllellts and performJDce
The ftn&ncial ststrments for the year ended 30th June 2025 include th¢ activity of th¢ Trinity College Ccntre.
The aim of the Centre is to support co]Jmunity activiti¢s and advance edllcatio￿ tn meeting tbese aims. it strive5 to Ensure
it5 frdcilities are fiLlly utilised by a y￿Iety of wups of both children and adults. Us¢ of the Centre has continued to increase
both in termy of thiTd-paty uscrs and Dew initiatives developed by the COn￿u￿]ty Engagernent Manager. It remains
available for by a variety of orgallisalions and groups from the l¢)cai community in Canjberwell.
Financial review
Voluntary iucome from individuaEs remained static at around £4.700 but we re￿iVed a graDt of £15,000 from Sports England
to promote fitness w¢llbEiAg in the Centre and additional grants of £l.000 each. Activity at the C¢Dtre has increased
significantly, with an associated incre&se both inknome and expendiDJre. This year was the ftrst fvll year of emplo)ffnenl
of a Premises Manager. which costs will be￿ to impact next f￿ancial year. In the coming year, some expendkDJre of
reserves may be requir￿ to develop plans for refurbishment and potelltial extensioll of the Centre.
Invdqtment policy
Under the Articles of Associatioffj the Charity has the p)wer to mok¢ any investments which the trI￿te¢S see fit. The
policy is to pursue a rnedium risk inve5tttLent strategy based on maximisiDg income.
Grant iuakillg poli¢y
The Charity may provide grdnts to organisations wbose actiyitieg support IL5 objectives. The ttustees will judge each
request for a ￿t based on its merits: and any grant offered depend on tbe availability of fvndtng from other SDurcts.
R￿erVeS policy
The charity b.as unrestricted reserves of £4.643.651 (£4,499,895.. 20241 of which £2,293,651 (£2,149,895.. 2024) are not
r¢presenteO by property or pby5ical assets 50 are c<)nsidered'free'. The free Tescrves are held in realisable, cash-generating
assets and the trustecs consider holdillts reserves at thi5 l¢vel is necessary to tioth gen¢rating a sufficient income to
maillt&i￿ its yeaAy charitsble activities ond provide for fluctuations in incorne.
The reserYe5 policy will be reviewed eacb year at a meeting of the CounciL
Plans for the future
The trustees ￿111 see & need for sigi)ific2nt refurbish￿cllt of tbe Centre, to reinagine its purpose giv¢n the changed and
chamging demogrnphy of the area. We are activ¢ly discussing the fufjtre shape and use of the Centre, and have engaged
a local architcct IO develop a fomial Scoping Rewrt to be used in a tendering process for an archit¢ct to devclop detailed
plans.

The trust¢es are considered to be key perso[￿e1 of the Ch&-ttV, sn Ch￿ge of dÈrecting and controlling the C[￿lty. The
