In 2022 -2023 we have been successful in receiving a £10,000 grant from Essex Community foundation. Which along with £1000 grant from Harwich and Dovercourt Rotary club, and money already in our account from covid grants, we have been able to purchase a new Mini bus.
We have also received £500 from Essex community foundation which is to be spent on the group.
Harwich and Dovercourt Rotary club have also donated £1000 for the purchase of new tents.
We have ongoing donations from the groups using the Navigator Hall. Totalling £6658.
Our thanks go to Aaron Harper and his family for organising a Table top Sale on the last Saturday of every month, which has raised over £700 for the group so far.
The group held two Crazy Auctions which in total have raised £1014.21
In December we were invited by ‘The Rotary Club of Harwich and Dovercourt,’ to join Santa and his sleigh one evening as he rode through Harwich. The donations collected by the young people in the group that night was rounded up by the Rotary club and £200 was donated to the group.
The group also had a stall at the Christmas Market, with tombola’s, games and raffles which raised £182.60
