The key management personnel comprise the Trustees. S￿retary lo the Trust and the Ch¢ef Executive. The
remuneration of Ihe Ch*f Executive is detemiined by the Trustees. The Trustees a￿ not remunerated bul may
claim expenses. A charge is made from the Worshipful Company of Armourers and Brasiers to the Trust for

The principal risks faced by the Trust lie in the perfomance of investments: the risk of ineffeclive grant making..
and the capacty of Ihe Trust to maintain the level of grant making in ￿n￿l￿tIon wrth ¢orporale partners.
The trustees consider variabilty of investment relums on investments to constitute the charity's major

investment portfolio. The inv¢$tm¢nt manager reports to the trustees in person on¢e a year bul 15

The operational risk from ineffective grant making is mtbgated by..
o confirming the c*arftable stalus and other eligibilty criteria agreed by the trustees for the

o retaining truste85 of suffici8nl sknll and expertise to chair the Materials Sryence sub-committee

an appropriate raThJe and depth of knowledge of the UK Materials Science sector,. and
