in eede's parents having to bear the cost ofVAT on Ihe ed￿all￿ of Iheir children from 1 January 2025

Nab'onal Insurance cosls. As a Board we were prepared for these changes ar¥J our strategy moving

hMJhlights this year were firS￿Y ￿ excel]enl set of results in publK examinations. Our &"xth Fom

The Trust is deeply commrtted to suppytmg vulnerable dmldren. This year. the L¢)oked After Children
{LACI programme saw seven LAC from East Sussex educated in Ihe Trust, all of whom were weekty
boarding. The School provided 50% tsJrsarEs and covered many extra costs, with the Lccal Authority
and the Royal Nat￿nal Children's SwingBoard FOUThJai￿n contn"buling the reMa￿d0r. A dedicated staff
mernber conlinues to act as Ihe Ownaled Teacher for LACS and swve$ a5 a Governor of the Easl
Sussex Virtual School, wthich the Sthool hosted for Ihree Governor rneets'ngs. the Chikjren in Care
Awards, and a training day. The Sthool ab50 partners the Fosler Placemenl Support Service,

holiday sports sessws. In October. over 50 chiklren in care, their cafers. and social workers attended
