**Objects:** A. PUBLICISE THE MUSEUM, ITS WORK AND NEEDS. B. HELP TO INCREASE THE COLLECTIONS. C. ASSIST THE MUSEUM STAFF WITH VOLUNTARY LABOUR. D. PROMOTE ACTIVITIES WHICH WILL 1. HELP FULFIL THE FOREGOING OBJECTS, 2. INCREASE LOCAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE MUSEUM'S SPHERE OF WORK.

**Activities:** The Friends provide volunteers to carry out research and conservation, demonstrate rural crafts and help with schools' educational visits and museum outreach. They help  financially with the acquisition of objects, improvement of visitor facilities and collection displays.
