## Financial Report 2022 

Following the Covid disaster of 2021 with Rowing and Barge Driving Events being cancelled.  Also, the lack of Training for the trainee watermen it was good to get back to near normal again with events on the water. 

Efforts were made to submit the returns in August 2023 but due to the new requirements for setting up and validating accounts we were unable to access the Charity Commission.  We requested an invitation to the Commission to set up our new account, the invitation request was pending and waiting to be approved but did not happen. 

We called the Charity Commission, the advisor was helpful and assisted us with receiving our invitation to set up the new account. The new account has now been set up. 

We were advised to request that our submission be backdated to 31[st] December 2023. 

Following the organised Events for the year 2022, the Current Account and the Deposit Account Statements show acceptable balances:To the 31[st] December 2022 the Current Account was £11,440.00 The Deposit Account was £17088.00 

Returns to the Charity Commission have been Made. I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have
