Prfnclpal Acllvllles The Chority is established lo preserve or assist in the preservation of life and prevention of injury at seo on the foreshore of the Solenl ond on the beaches of the counties of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. In the furtherance of these oclivities. but not further or othe￿iSe, the powers of the charity ore os sel out in its conslilution. The accounting policies adopted to further these objectives ore set out in note I lo the financial stalemenls. There have been no material changes to these policies in the year. Revlew ond Results We ore grateful to local oulhorities for contribulions received during the year: two local oulhorilies contribvled a total of £66.567. We are also groteful for ony other donations received. There were no grants or loans given to beach ond sea rescue units in 2024125. The support we hove given to the voluntary beoch and seo rescue units towords their units, running expenses has enobled them to respond lo many incidents during Ihe yeor.
