**Objects:** (1) TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (2) TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE IN OR AFFECTING THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (3) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION PROTECTION DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.

**Activities:** Heritage Open Days; provision of short term Heritage Exhibitions; planning; participation in local events; provision and sale of historical publications and members journal; guided walks; provision and management of  local families and War Memorial databases;  responding to family history enquiries; Speaker Evenings on topics of local interest; themed social events; maintenance of local Archives;
