**Objects:** A) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ARCHAEOLOGY AND HISTORY OF GREAT YARMOUTH AND DISTRICT, AND B) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION AND CONSERVATION OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS AND MONUMENTS WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.

**Activities:** To facilitate the study and exchange of local history and archaeology information in Great Yarmouth and district through meetings and publication of books.GYLH&AS provides information to the public, provides speakers for local meetings, works with local  archaeological and other groups in the area. It interacts with local museums & runs a YAC in conjunction with the Time & Tide Museum.
